Our new stroller finally arrived recently, which I was thrilled about! We decided on a Valco double that has the added option of the "toddler jump seat". It feels huge compared to our Bugaboo (I loved that stroller!), but is much smaller than some of the other triple strollers we tried out.

I haven't tried taking the stroller out to any stores, yet, but I'm sure that day is coming soon! For now, I've been enjoying taking the boys out on walks in the afternoons, as I begin to work off the remaining weight from Jack and Finn.

Today I bundled us all up to get out for a short walk, despite the cold, wet weather. Sawyer and I just needed to get out of the house for awhile.

During our walk, Sawyer decided he must of needed a bit more fun and excitement. As I rounded the corner of our block, he began to chant "run mama, run!" So, I thought, "why not"?

I quickly realized after passing some houses on the block (okay it may have only been one or two houses that we passed) that I am not currently in any condition to be pushing the kids in our stroller while running. Slowing our pace back down to a brisk walk, Sawyer started chanting again, "run mama, run". I continued to walk for a bit, but the persistence of our little man chanting "run mama, run" made me want to try a few more houses for him. I did another few houses houses, before returning to our walking pace, which of course elicited more chanting from Sawyer. I smiled and said to Sawyer, "mama needs to work on this running, so we'll have to practice more together another day".

I'm hoping by the beginning of summer I could sustain a run with all the boys. And I'm sure Sawyer will be there coaching me to accomplish this goal during our afternoon walks.
