I'm working on a post about Sawyer's birthday weekend. It was quite a memorable one that we'll fondly tell him in the years to come!
It's still hard to believe that Sawyer is now two and that two more boys, Jack and Finn, have joined the party. What will the next two years bring our way?!

The boys are (finally!) becoming more interactive with us, especially after their morning feeding. Here's some smiles that were captured while they were hanging in the bouncers, while Sawyer and I were busy in the kitchen.
Jack shows off his grin!
Finn gives his best!
And of course, Sawyer had to join in on the fun, too!
I can only imagine the smiles and laughter that will fill our home when all three of them are tearing the place up... I can hardly wait!

Our new stroller finally arrived recently, which I was thrilled about! We decided on a Valco double that has the added option of the "toddler jump seat". It feels huge compared to our Bugaboo (I loved that stroller!), but is much smaller than some of the other triple strollers we tried out.
I haven't tried taking the stroller out to any stores, yet, but I'm sure that day is coming soon! For now, I've been enjoying taking the boys out on walks in the afternoons, as I begin to work off the remaining weight from Jack and Finn.
Today I bundled us all up to get out for a short walk, despite the cold, wet weather. Sawyer and I just needed to get out of the house for awhile.
During our walk, Sawyer decided he must of needed a bit more fun and excitement. As I rounded the corner of our block, he began to chant "run mama, run!" So, I thought, "why not"?
I quickly realized after passing some houses on the block (okay it may have only been one or two houses that we passed) that I am not currently in any condition to be pushing the kids in our stroller while running. Slowing our pace back down to a brisk walk, Sawyer started chanting again, "run mama, run". I continued to walk for a bit, but the persistence of our little man chanting "run mama, run" made me want to try a few more houses for him. I did another few houses houses, before returning to our walking pace, which of course elicited more chanting from Sawyer. I smiled and said to Sawyer, "mama needs to work on this running, so we'll have to practice more together another day".
I'm hoping by the beginning of summer I could sustain a run with all the boys. And I'm sure Sawyer will be there coaching me to accomplish this goal during our afternoon walks.

I've been intending on launching this new blog for the past six months, so before a year goes by, I figure I better just start somewhere.
Here's a recent picture of all our boys. Finn Michael, Sawyer Nathaniel, and Jack Andrew. The twins are just shy of two months and Sawyer's just shy of turning two in this picture. I was actually pretty pleased that I was able to get all of them looking rather good in this picture, considering I only had time to take a few shots before Sawyer was ready to be on the move.
So, here's to new beginnings...
with this blog,
with Sawyer taking us into the terrible two's,
with the addition of twin boys, Jack and Finn,
and with my hubby, my best friend and love!
